Claude Dawayne Johnson “Wayne” 39, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Born in Providence, RI. He was the son of Claude Jett and Nadenea Johnson Killingham, Step-father James Killingham, Grandmother Gladys Willis and the late Lee Willis, Irving & Dora Mae Johnson.
He was a lifetime resident of Providence, RI and worked for the City of Providence Recreation Department and Aramark Industries.
He leaves to cherish his memories his significant other Quenia Tejada and his children: Kyle Fowler, Tatyana, Michael, Kendall, and Giovanna Johnson. In addition, he also leaves behind two sisters; Gianne Spiver and Jada Irons; and one brother Johnnie Bussey, Elizabeth Whipple, Kathrin Fowler, Step-mom Paula Spiver, and a host of relatives and friends.
Wayne had a big heart and such a beautiful soul. His contagious energy touched the lives of so many. He especially loved his children, family and friends. He had a love for basketball and was known as a powerhouse under the boards. He was a loyal Philadelphia Eagle fan and had a passion for cooking and making his “Jungle Juice”.
He was truly a remarkable son, devoted father and a dedicated family man who was always willing to lend a hand in any way he could.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 12th from 9am until 12:30pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln
